Over the past few months I have been using my permitted exercise time to head into the wilderness in and around Sussex, and spend some quality time with nature. Landscape adventures are something that I’ve always been passionate about, but I’ve never had the time to develop my landscape skills and commit to shooting outside on a regular basis. Until now.
I love spending time outdoors. I love the isolation, the ambience, the peace. I love sitting quietly and watching nature doing what nature does. Give me the the serenity of the fields over the hustle and bustle of city life any day of the week!
Therefore a few weeks ago I decided to start documenting my journey. I’ve been recording videos of between 10-20 minutes every week, and it’s a great opportunity to get to know me a little better, and for me to introduce myself if we’ve never met. The internet is very impersonal, and as I’m very comfortable in front of the camera I had wanted to create some video content for quite a while, in order for people to see and hear the real me. The written word can be a very limiting form of communication.
Expect honesty, humour, frustration, growing pains, and a peaceful vibe, but most of all – expect authenticity. Five episodes are now live, with a new one released every Tuesday morning at 9.30am.

Did you enjoy the video? Do you know of another wonderful location off the beaten track that would be good for me to explore? I’d love to hear your feedback, so please get in touch and let me know!
PS – the eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed that my logo has changed slightly. I’m currently going through a full re-branding process. A new logo, name and colour scheme to be launched in due course. Rest assured that Guy Walsh and Guy Wah are very much the same person!
